01 What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device by a website. They are widely used to make websites work more efficiently and to provide information to the website owner.
There are different types of cookies. Session cookies are temporary and deleted when you close your browser. Persistent cookies remain on your device for a set period. First-party cookies are set by the website you are visiting; third-party cookies are set by other domains.
Omnigenius uses a minimal set of cookies — only what is strictly necessary to operate the site.
02 Cookies We Use
Here is a complete list of the cookies and browser storage mechanisms Omnigenius uses:
| Name |
Type |
Purpose |
Duration |
| og_admin_session |
localStorage |
Stores admin authentication session so you remain logged in to the admin dashboard across page refreshes |
Until sign-out |
| sb-* (Supabase) |
localStorage |
Supabase authentication tokens used to maintain your admin session securely |
1 hour (refreshed automatically) |
These storage items are only set when you actively log in to the admin dashboard. Regular visitors to the public waitlist page are not subjected to any cookies or local storage from Omnigenius directly.
03 Cookies We Do NOT Use
We want to be explicit about what we do not do:
- No advertising cookies — we do not run ads and have no ad network integrations
- No analytics cookies — we do not use Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Hotjar, or similar tools on this website
- No social media tracking pixels — no Facebook Pixel, Twitter/X Pixel, or LinkedIn Insight Tag
- No cross-site tracking — we do not track your browsing behavior across other websites
- No fingerprinting — we do not use browser fingerprinting techniques
Bottom line: if you're just visiting the waitlist page and signing up with your email, no cookies or local storage items are written to your device by Omnigenius.
04 Third-Party Cookies
Some third-party services embedded in this website may set their own cookies. These are outside our direct control:
- Google Fonts — fonts are loaded from Google's servers, which may set cookies or log your IP address. You can review Google's cookie practices at policies.google.com
- Vanta.js / cdnjs — our background animation is loaded from the Cloudflare CDN (cdnjs.cloudflare.com), which may log request metadata but does not set tracking cookies
We aim to minimize third-party dependencies and will update this list if new services are added.
05 Managing Your Cookies
You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings. Here's how for the most common browsers:
- Chrome — Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data
- Firefox — Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
- Safari — Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data
- Edge — Settings → Cookies and site permissions → Cookies and site data
Note that disabling cookies may affect the functionality of some websites, though it will have minimal impact on the Omnigenius waitlist page.
To clear Omnigenius-specific local storage, open your browser's developer tools (F12), navigate to Application → Local Storage, and delete entries beginning with og_admin or sb-.
